I’m Freelance Cinematographer and Photographer. I did my diploma graduate, Edith Cowan University, Australia in video production and had undergone courses related to cinematography & photography in Thailand, Philippines, Hong Kong and India. I m was in the film industry for the last 20 years.
I had my first film in 2003 a local film as Six Boys and Lhadha gaw 2004 I was awarded Best Cinematography’ “2011 National Film Festival Award. I also won ‘Presidential Award’ 2004 and won “Prize of Excellence Award” in photo contest, Japan. I was the Cinematographer on more than 13 films, including many other notable productions. I was also the first Bhutanese cinematographer to film a film in Cinemascope. Some of his great movies I am Sonam Kuenga Namgyal (2011) shot in Red One for local and The Arrows of Thunder Dragon (2010)
Terma (The Prophecy) (2011)The film won, 'Platinum Award at Asia Pacific International Filmmaker Festival And Awards, 2016 and Best narrative feature at SR socially relevant film film festival New York 2017.
Khushuthara (The pattern of love) won best award tonight at Laughlin! Best International Narrative Feature Film" Laughlin award 2015
